Számos kutatónk vett részt az ECPR (European Consortium for Political Research, Európai Konzorcium a Politikai Kutatásért)  éves konferenciáján, amelyet idén Wrocławban, Lengyelországban rendeztek meg szeptember 4-7. között.

Az American Political Science Association (APSA) éves konferenciáján, Bryan Jones Comparative Agendas Projectnevében átvette a legjobb adatbázisért kapott Lijphart/Przeworski/Verba díjat. Az eseményen a magyar kutatócsoportot Sebők Miklós kutatásvezető képviselte.

A Magyar Érdemrend lovagkeresztje (polgári tagozat) kitüntetésben részesült a politikatudomány területén folytatott kiváló kutatói és elhivatott oktatói munkája, valamint a magyar politikai kultúra fejlesztésében betöltött szerepe elismeréseként dr. Csizmadia Ervin politológus, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia Politikatudományi Intézetének tudományos főmunkatársa, a Méltányosság Politikaelemző Központ igazgatója, a Miskolci Egyetem Bölcsészettudományi Kara Alkalmazott Társadalomtudományok Intézetének docense.
