Research Interests

Győri Ágnes, PhD is a senior research fellow at the Centre for Social Sciences, Budapest. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Corvinus University of Budapest in 2014.  She has over 20 years’ of experience in the field of questionnaire surveys, research using in-depth interviews, as well as national and international comparative data analysis. Her main research interests include mobility processes, social and health inequalities. Her current research project supported by the OTKA basic research program (NKFIH FK) examines the professional mobility of social workers through a complex approach in the context of their mental health and their narrow and broad work environment. She regularly publishes in cutting-edge international journals such as SSM Population Health, Sociological Research Online, European Journal of Social Work, Energies, Eastern Journal of European Studies and East European Politics and Societies. She is editor of Corvinus Journal of Sociology and Social Policy and socio.hu.
